I'm a twenty-something single African-American Mormon living in Texas (yes, we do exist).
Trust me, I ain't the only one! Yes, there are black Mormons out there. This is a global and diverse Church. Black Mormons are real. We're not some mythical unicorn-fairy hybrid creatures.
I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and my testimony grows stronger everyday. I'm not perfect, but I serve a perfect God. I love my Heavenly Father, and I know that I'm his daughter.
Joining the Church was the best decision I've ever made in my life.
The Church is true, the Book of Mormon truly is the word of God and another testimony of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I believe that Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of God and is anointed and blessed of the Lord to be his mouthpiece.
Life is all around good, but not without trials, but I have ways of getting through the high tides.
I love reading, writing, teaching, and taking pictures. I love having fun with my friends, spending time with my family, and customizing notebooks, which is my hobby (I should seriously think about turning it into a side business).
